Buying for someone whose Steam Deck already has more accessories than your desk? Start with what they actually use.

Ask whether they play handheld or on a table, and whether they already have a microSD card.

If you cannot ask without spoiling the surprise, Steam credit is the safest pick here. The physical gifts need more checking.

They need storage: Check the microSD option only after learning their current card’s capacity. A smaller card is not an upgrade.

The catch: This is a stocking filler, not a substantial present. Shipping costs extra, so check the final total.
Before you buy: Use it clean and dry. Never spray liquid directly onto the Deck, and check the item’s return terms before ordering.

Why it fits: An adjustable stand helps with tabletop play. JSAUX explicitly lists compatibility with Steam Deck LCD and OLED.
The catch: It is a stand, not a dock or charger. A bulky protective case may not fit.
Before you buy: Listed shipping adds $6.99 below $50. Availability was unclear on the maker’s page; confirm before planning a holiday delivery.

Pick 4 · $39.99–$49.99

SDSQXAA-128G-GN6MA. Observed offer: $39.99; regular price: $49.99.

Why it fits: It adds removable game storage without opening the Deck. Its UHS-I, U3 specification meets Valve’s LCD and OLED requirements.
The catch: Both models have one microSD slot. If they already own a larger card, this is a spare rather than an upgrade.
Before you buy: 128GB fills quickly with large games. Deck formatting erases existing contents; tax and shipping can push this beyond $50.

Pick 5 · $9.99–$15.99

Six pieces. Observed sale: $9.99; regular price: $15.99.

Why it fits: Three pairs offer different heights and textures. The maker explicitly lists both Steam Deck LCD and OLED.
The catch: The material is non-capacitive. With these fitted, touching the joystick no longer activates touch-triggered gyro controls.
Before you buy: The gyro sensor still works with other activation methods. Skip these unless they accept that trade-off; check carrying-case clearance too.

LCD and OLED share many accessories, but not every fitted shell or case. A listing saying “for Steam Deck” is insufficient.

Do not buy an unknown game just because it is discounted. Check their library and its Deck compatibility first.
